Rhino Linux is an Ubuntu-based, rolling release distribution, with Pacstall & XFCE at its core.
Diverging from Ubuntu-based tradition, Rhino Linux is not based from any LTS or interim releases. It uses Ubuntu's devel branch to provide a rolling experience.
Pacstall is a propose solution that aims to be the equivalent of the AUR present on Arch Linux-based distributions. It assists in providing the most up-to-date software, even those unavailable in the standard repositories. It is at the very heart of the distribution, providing essential packages such as the Linux kernel, web browsers, our customized Unicorn Desktop, and other Rhino Linux utilities. Pacstall can help provide development libraries that are critical for development projects.
Rhino Linux comes preinstalled with its own desktop, Unicorn, a custom-built XFCE desktop combining the best of traditional and modern takes on the desktop.
New Feature: Hybrid Torrents
Hybrid torrents support the BitTorrent V1 and V2 protocol. Its support is not well spread out yet so we recommend that you still use v1 (aka the "torrent" column).
