Lubuntu is an official flavour of the Ubuntu operating system which uses the LXQt Desktop instead of the popular GNOME desktop environment. Every package in Lubuntu shares the same repositories as Ubuntu and it is released regularly on the same schedule as Ubuntu.

Hybrid torrents support the BitTorrent V1 and V2 protocol. Its support is not well spread out yet so we recommend that you still use v1 (aka the "torrent" column).

This image was created using the Ubuntu Pi Flavour Maker. The Lubuntu team have done what they can to optimise the build for the Raspberry Pi 2 but the microSDHC I/O throughput is a bottleneck. The team recommends that you use atleast a Class 6 (minimum) or Class 10 (recommended) microSDHC card. More information here.
