OpenTTD is a business simulation game in which players try to earn money via transporting passengers and freight by road, rail, water and air. It is an open-source remake and expansion of the 1994 Chris Sawyer video game Transport Tycoon Deluxe.

The Game's Objective

OpenTTD share many similarities with Transport Tycoon Deluxe (on which it is based), but it offers many option improvements, both in the game and its ease to use. The game runs from 1950 to 2050, during which the player aims to get the highest performance rating.

The players aim to built a transportation network, for cargo produced by in-game industries, using trucks, buses, trains, planes and boats which link together industries and various towns.

Every vehicle makes deliveries and the players receive an income, allowing them to expend the infrastructure (road, rails, station, port, etc.), to build more vehicles, modify the terrain and interact with towns authority personnel.

New Feature: Hybrid Torrents

Hybrid torrents support the BitTorrent V1 and V2 protocol. Its support is not well spread out yet so we recommend that you still use v1 (aka the "torrent" column).
