Mixxx is a free DJ software for Windows, macOS and Linux. It’s easy to use, even if you’ve never DJed. You can use Mixxx to perform with MIDI and HID controllers, CD players, vinyl turntables or even just your computer’s keyboard and mouse.

Install Mixxx on Linux Distributions

Ubuntu (18.04 "Bionic Beaver" or later)

Mixxx provides a PPA to install Mixxx as easy as possible. In order to install Mixxx, enter the following in a terminal.

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:mixxx/mixxx
sudo apt update
sudo apt install mixxx

Fedora

RPM Fusion builds are maintained by the Mixxx development team. They support the next, the current, and a few selected previous Fedora releases (if possible). In order to install Mixxx, enter the following in a terminal.

sudo dnf install https://mirrors.rpmfusion.org/free/fedora/rpmfusion-free-release-$(rpm -E %fedora).noarch.rpm
sudo dnf install mixxx

Arch Linux

The latest stable version is available in the community repository and can be installed using pacman. In order to install Mixxx, enter the following in a terminal.

sudo pacman -S mixxx

New Feature: Hybrid Torrents

Hybrid torrents support the BitTorrent V1 and V2 protocol. Its support is not well spread out yet so we recommend that you still use v1 (aka the "torrent" column).
