What makes Melawy Linux Special

Melawy Linux is distributed in two versions:

Melawy Linux Developer Edition Custom build is intended primarily for software developers, including those who want to work with a LiveISO image.
Melawy Linux Base System build is intended primarily for general users and is built without tools for software developers.

The distribution package (LiveISO) of Melawy Linux immediately includes all the necessary software to get started, reducing search and install time (its main purporse is install and go).

Melawy Linux uses the Calamares installer and provides a custom, pre-configured design for:

rEFInd boot loader
Plymouth boot screen
SDDM login manager
KDE Plasma desktop environment

The product is open source software with a free license.

The project is aimed at personal computers such as desktops and laptops.
