On November 2nd, 2021, we removed the mention of having only 1 ad displayed on your page (compared to 2 Google ads). EthicalAds has been the default for multiple months and we are very happy to be able to work with them. This is an effort to de-googlify our service.

Torrents help reduce the impact on your server.
Lowers the bandwidth cost.
More peers equals faster download rate.
You website can go down, and peers will continue sharing your product.
Web seeds from at least two sources will kickstart seeding for the torrents.

What we will do for you?
We will track new versions (RSS/atom/Twitter).
We will host the torrent files.
We will seed the files until a new version is released.
We will share updates on Twitter and Facebook.
Replace the comment with "Official product_name (version_number - architecture) Torrent created by FOSS Torrents for project_group."
What about the user?
We do not track the user! Third party might (Google Ads and Analytics).1
Login system allows the user to remove ads (after becoming a Patreon user).

1 Our goal is to eventually replace Google Analytics with a self hosted tool which will only track the page views per project and clicks per torrent.
